This is a very scenic course. The clubhouse is much more upscale than one typically expects to find at a 9-hole course. The fairways are generous in landing areas. The greens are well manicured. Water hazards come into play on six holes.

Watch out for # 8, the 526-yard par-5 challenge is the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Riverbend Golf Course is # 7, a 282 yard par-4.
